Cover Story: In this paper, we introduce TETRAPAC (TElematic data of TRucks for Advanced Predictive Analysis of their Component), a methodology able to analyze data collected from heavy trucks during their use, offering a generalizable approach to estimating vehicle health conditions based on monitored features enriched by innovative key performance indicators. The methodology has been evaluated using two different use cases: (1) identifying vehicles with potential DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) and (2) the estimation of the battery life of the trucks. In both use cases, TETRAPAC has been proven to bring significant benefits to the company, in terms of cost savings and increasing customer satisfaction. View this paper
