2021 May - 120 articles

Cover Story: Lensless microscopy has attracted a great deal of attention due to its potential for low-cost microscopy and its use in places where large and expensive equipment is not possible. By changing the role of the detector and emitter in lensless microscopy, a chip-sized scanning optical microscope based only on a fully addressable nano-LED array and an optical photodetector is achieved. Resolution is given by the LED pitch, while field-of-view is given by the scanned area defined by the LED array size. View this paper.
