Cover Story: Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (cHL) is a highly curable disease, but around 20% of patients experience progression or relapse after standard frontline chemotherapy regimens. In the last decade, due to our increasing understanding of cHL biology and the role of the tumor microenvironment, new molecules have been introduced in clinical practice; antibody–drug conjugates and checkpoint inhibitors nowadays represent curative options for chemorefractory patients. Moreover, many new drugs are also being studied in preclinical or clinical trials, including car T-cells, epigenetic modulators, T-lymphocyte- and NK cell-modulating agents and JAK2 inhibitors, which all show promising efficacy. In this review, we aim to summarize these new therapeutic strategies available for use in the treatment of cHL.
