Cover Story: Social media influencers shape how consumers discover and evaluate hospitality brands. This study examines how parasocial interaction with travel influencers and influencer credibility affect consumer–brand identification and purchase intention in influencer-led virtual communities. Drawing on social influence theory, it tests the mediating roles of perceived information quality and a sense of belonging. Survey data from 908 consumers were analysed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The results showed that parasocial interaction and influencer credibility strengthened information quality and community belonging, which then enhanced consumer–brand identification and purchase intention. The findings highlight influencer-led communities as digital spaces where trust, belonging, and brand relationships are formed. View this paper
