About Tourism and Hospitality
Tourism and Hospitality is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that serves as a forum for publishing scholarly papers that advance the broad fields of tourism and hospitality. Academics and professionals with a background in marketing, management science, politics and policy making, economics geography, sociology, history, psychology, anthropology, events management, recreation, leisure, environmental management, and public administration will find the journal interesting.
The journal seeks to nurture the critical development of the domain of tourism and hospitality, to extend the frontiers of knowledge in the field, and to provide a global forum for the exchange of opinions and ideas.
The journal encourages the submission of applied and theoretical research papers, critical review papers, research notes, and perspective papers, which analyze a current research topic of substantial contemporary interest in which the author's perspective sheds light on key findings on the research topic. Comment, rejoinder, and reply papers are also welcomed.
Interdisciplinary approaches are especially welcomed, as is the submission of papers that will be of relevance to industry and practitioners.

Tourism and Hospitality is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications. MDPI works with Publons to provide reviewers with credit for their work.
