Cover Story: Soluble solids content (SSC) strongly influences strawberry taste, but conventional methods measure only limited points and cannot capture within-fruit variation. This study presents a framework for three-dimensional visualization of SSC across the strawberry surface using near-infrared hyperspectral imaging, geometric correction, and pixel-wise reliability evaluation. By incorporating fruit shape and surface orientation, spectral distortion caused by curvature and illumination is reduced. A reliability index based on Mahalanobis distance in PLS score space is also introduced to assess prediction validity. The framework enables more reliable and interpretable SSC mapping for non-destructive fruit quality evaluation and may support future breeding and sorting applications. View this paper
