Cover Story: Digital transformation is reshaping sport organizations at every level, from grassroots clubs to professional leagues. While technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, social media platforms, and digital services offer significant opportunities, their successful implementation depends on effective governance rather than technology alone. Through a systematic review of the scientific literature, this study identifies eight key dimensions that characterize digital transformation in sport organizations, including leadership, innovation, organizational change, governance structures, fan engagement, and data management. The resulting conceptual framework provides a foundation for understanding digital governance and supports the future development of tools to assess the digital dimension across sport organizations. View this paper
