The Social Nature of Health and Well-Being

A section of Societies (ISSN 2075-4698).

Section Information

Human health and well-being are constantly impacted by ever-changing societal changes and challenges. According to the United Nations SDG #3, 13 targets have been set to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” by 2030. However, all of the SDGs cover factors that impact the social nature of health and well-being. As the aim of Societies (ISSN 2075-4698) is to engage with societal issues, this Section will focus on ongoing and emerging challenges within health and wellbeing from a social perspective.

We encourage authors to submit original papers including research articles, reviews, and conceptual pieces.

Submissions should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts undergo a thorough double-blind peer review process. As soon as papers are accepted for publication, they will be published in the journal.
