Cover Story: Wearable electronics require conductive materials that remain electrically stable under repeated deformation and laundering. In this study, an elastic–rigid copolymer elastomer was developed as a polymer binder for washable conductive pastes used in smart textile applications. The copolymer combines thermally stable imide segments with elastic polyurethane domains, providing balanced mechanical strength and flexibility. Silver flakes dispersed in the copolymer matrix form stable conductive networks with low resistivity. The printed conductive films maintain electrical stability under cyclic tensile strain and remain conductive after 50 laundering cycles following the AATCC 135 standard. View this paper
