2017 July - 214 articles

Cover Story: This paper presents, compares and discusses seven different cases of Collaborative Food Alliances, located in five different countries. We draw on the experience of a specific kind of direct supply, where solidarity partnerships are created between consumers and producers as a way to achieve food in more ecologically sound and socially just ways. The experiences also help to foster sustainable urban–rural linkages, since city dwellers benefit by receiving organic products on a regular basis and at a fair price, while farmers enjoy the stable income.
