At the age of techno-economic diversity and global warming anarchy, sustainable energy deployment plays a vital role by deploying agile strategies to achieve long-term sustainability requires within multidisciplinary endeavors. An increase in energy demand in the global context and the burden of climate change, which is anticipated to worsen with time, relies on a series inter disciplinary solutions, including technical, technological, social, political, environmental, ecological, economic, and institutional to alleviate restrictions and to come up with viable decision-making.
In reality, sustainable energy deployment has a multilateral impact at local to global scales with social, ecological, health, and economic consequences, directly linked with green and renewable energy supply, conversion, transmission, transportation, consumption, etc.
The section of “Energy Sustainability” highlights energy resources and technologies advancement and their exploitation tools, techniques, strategies, policies, procedures, assessments, and case studies aligned with Goal #7 of sustainable development goals (SDGs) 2030 to ensure clean energy access to more than 3 billion people around the world. The section covers managerial, technical, technological, economic, policy, and efficiency dimensions in the form of research articles, conceptual analysis articles, review articles, and commentaries related to energy resources, technologies, applications, deployment options, and advanced techniques in support to the Sustainable Development Goal #7: access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
