Minerals Travel Awards

To encourage further research, MDPI journals regularly offer awards to sponsor assistant professors, junior scientists, postdoctoral researchers and PhD students to attend various conferences.

Membership Established with the Technical University of Denmark and the University of North Florida

Minerals (ISSN 2075-163X) Accepted for Coverage in Scopus

We are pleased to announce that the journal Minerals (ISSN 2075-163X) was recently selected to be included in Scopus. Citations are expected to be available in Scopus soon.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and is published by Elsevier B.V. This means that the research you publish with Minerals will be more visible than ever. Minerals is an international open access journal that covers the broad field of mineralogy, economic mineral resources, mineral exploration, innovative mining techniques and advances in mineral processing.

Minerals (ISSN 2075-163X) Receives First Impact Factor – 1.000

We are pleased to report the first Impact Factor for Minerals for 2014. According to the 2015 Journal Citation Reports® Science Edition, published in June 2015 by Thomson Reuters, the first Impact Factor for Minerals is 1.000.

Minerals enters the ranking in the categories ‘Mineralogy’ (SCIE) placed 20 out of 28 (Q3) and ‘Mining & Mineral Processing’ (SCIE) placed 8 out of 20 (Q2).

Thomson Reuters have published a Correction Note pertaining to the data that was initially released for Minerals. Please note that the correction in the JCR® will not be effective until September this year.
