Molecular Medicine

A section of Current Issues in Molecular Biology (ISSN 1467-3045).

Section Information

The “Molecular Medicine” section of the Current Issues in Molecular Biology (CIMB) journal publishes the very best scientific articles in molecular biology. In addition to molecular biology, this journal is also interested in receiving articles that explore new molecular biology-based techniques and tools that advance the field of Molecular Medicine.

This journal urges authors to submit articles that unravel complex disease mechanisms and create RNA data to predict drug responses. In addition, authors are welcome to submit in vivo preclinical animal models to predict, at the molecular level, drugs that can reverse disease states.

Topic of interest includes (but are not necessarily limited to) the following:

  • Understanding the molecular mechanism of the disease process;
  • Use of transgenic animals to study disease models;
  • Tools to study genome editing, machine learning, omics, RNA editing, and computational software to study metabolism;
  • Epigenetic modification, genome regulation, and replication;
  • Transcription factor regulation;
  • Identifying genetic errors in disease;
  • Molecular Cellular Pathways in animals, plants, and bacteria;
  • Molecular interventions and methodologies;
  • Development of novel methods of treatment/therapeutics.
