Cover Story: Organizations often face a choice between comprehensive analytical methods that can stall decisions and agile heuristics that risk oversimplifying. Our approach bridges this gap with AI-enabled semantic analysis, linking structured frameworks to decision heuristics, such as the Thirty-Six Stratagems of ancient China. We use advanced NLP to measure textual similarities between each framework’s parameters and heuristic patterns, providing best-fit recommendations for real-world scenarios. Case studies in automotive innovation and historical computing show how this semantic bridge yields actionable strategies, enabling organizations to maintain both systematic rigor and operational agility in competitive environments.
