Cover Story: Would it not be great if students engaged eagerly with learning and became passionate with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects? Educational escape rooms are a new form of serious games that can be arranged in physical or virtual (3D) spaces. Well-designed virtual reality escape rooms have been linked to increased cognitive and affective learning outcomes. However, how do teachers view them? Do they find them useful? Would they use them?
