Technologies Receives Its First CiteScore of 5.5


We are pleased to inform you that Technologies (ISSN: 2227-7080) has been assigned its first CiteScore of 5.5 for June 2023, after its inclusion in Scopus (Elsevier) in 2023. The journal CiteScore ranks 21 among 103 titles in the “Computer Science” category.

Meet Us at the 33rd European Symposium on Computer–Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE 2023), 18–21 June 2023, Athens, Greece


A range of MDPI journals will be attending the 33rd European Symposium on Computer-Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE 2023). This meeting will be held in Athens, Greece, from 18 to 21 June 2023. 

The ESCAPE conference series accounts for essential and vital events that enjoy strikingly international audiences bringing together active members of the process systems engineering community worldwide. The series started in 1992. Since then, the events have been hosted by most European countries including twice in Greece in earlier years (Rhodos: 1996, Porto Carras: 2011). 

It is anticipated that this conference would attract a significant number of people from academia, research institutions, and industrial organizations. The symposium, including several networking activities, would cover the most up-to-date topics related to Process Systems Engineering. Presentations given by distinguished European and other world-renowned plenary and keynote speakers would offer a cutting-edge to the symposium.

Technologies (ISSN: 2227-7080) is currently recruiting scientists to join the Editorial Board.

As an Editorial Board Member, you would have the following responsibilities:

  • Promoting Technologies on your social media or among your acquaintances;
  • Supervising the quality of the papers in Technologies (when we have new submissions that fit well with your expertise);
  • Acting as/recommending a Guest Editor for a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;
  • Providing conference/society cooperation recommendations;
  • Providing suggestions or comments on journal development.

As an Editorial Board Member, you would have the following benefits:

  • Publishing one paper free of charge in Technologies per year, and also publishing extra papers with special discounts;

Technologies 2023 Best Paper Award—Winner Announced

We are delighted to announce the winner of the Technologies 2023 Best Paper Award—Dr. Fillia Makedon from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, for the paper entitled “A Survey of Robots in Healthcare”. All papers published between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 in Technologies (ISSN: 2227-7080) were considered for the award. After a thorough evaluation of the originality and significance of the papers, citations, and downloads, the winner was selected. We would like to thank the award committee for their excellent work in the hard task of selecting a winner from such excellent candidates, as well as everyone who participated in this award and helped make it a huge success!

The winner will receive CHF 500, a certificate, and a chance to publish a paper free of charge after peer review in Technologies before the end of 30 December 2023.
