Acceptance and Hesitancy in Vaccine Uptake: 3rd Edition
This special issue belongs to the section "Vaccines and Public Health".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
As Guest Editor, I am pleased to announce the third Special Issue of “Acceptance and Hesitancy in Vaccine Uptake.” With changing policies toward global vaccine coverage, the third Special Issue seeks to enhance the evidence base for vaccine intervention approaches. We seek to both expand and increase the precision of intervention approaches to overcome barriers to vaccination, decrease hesitancy, and develop strategies to increase uptake among different populations worldwide. Papers that identify effective multi-level approaches—with individuals, parents/families, clinical teams, healthcare institutions, engaged community stakeholders, and policy-makers—are particularly encouraged. Papers based on findings from racially, ethnically, and other minoritized groups (e.g., rural residents, the poor) are of interest. We encourage papers relying on population-based databases, studies using novel research methods, and rigorous review papers. Papers exploring the HPV vaccine are of notable interest. In this Special Issue, we welcome all types of papers, including original research articles, reviews, and short communications.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
Dr. Sherri Sheinfeld Gorin
