Cover Story: Identifying reliable biomarkers for assessing ovarian function and predicting menopause has become a significant area of research in recent years. Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) has gained attention as a potential marker for evaluating ovarian senescence due to its close association with the ovarian follicle reserve. This study aimed to establish an appropriate cut-off value for AMH to detect ovarian senescence in a group of premenopausal Greek women. Additionally, the study sought to explore the potential relationship between AMH levels and the severity of climacteric symptoms during a 24-month follow-up period. The study included 180 premenopausal women. The participants’ AMH blood levels were measured, and their climacteric symptoms were assessed using the Greene scale, which provides a comprehensive evaluation of various menopausal symptoms.
