2016	The inaugural issue was released. Geriatrics was published as a quarterly journal.
2017	Geriatrics announced the first edition of the Travel award. Geriatrics established the following sections: Geriatric Neurology; Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychology; Geriatric Endocrinology and Metabolic Disorder; Cardiogeriatrics; Geriatric Nutrition; Geriatric Oncology; Geriatric Rheumatology; Geriatric Pulmonology; Geriatric Ophthalmology; Geriatric Rehabilitation; Basic Science; Healthy Aging; Public Health: Law and Ethics.
2018	Geriatrics was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 2 (Issue 1).
2019	Geriatrics was indexed in PubMed - National Library of Medicine. Geriatrics was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2021	Geriatrics established the following section: Dysphagia.
2022	Geriatrics adopted a bimonthly publication schedule.
2023	Public Health: Law and Ethics was renamed as Geriatric Public Health. Geriatrics received its first Impact Factor (2.3).
2026	The year 2026 marks the 10th Anniversary of Geriatrics.
