Cover Story: Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) have long been a critical health concern due to their unpredictability and the risks associated with conventional surgical interventions. Recent advancements in biomechanical modeling, imaging, and artificial intelligence now provide enhanced tools for predicting AAA progression and tailoring personalized treatments. Emerging biomedical technologies, including regenerative therapies with stem cells and cell products, gene editing, and nanoparticle drug delivery, have introduced innovative methods for strengthening aortic walls and curbing disease progression beyond current options. These breakthroughs mark a significant step toward precision medicine in AAA management, promising better outcomes and minimized risks. View this paper
