Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Machine learning and cybersecurity are amongst the fastest growing areas of computational sciences, and the security of machine learning, as it continues to find ever more application areas, is particularly critical. This Special Issue considers the intersection of these two areas. Papers related to machine learning, cybersecurity, the cybersecurity of machine learning and using machine learning for cybersecurity are all welcome.
This Special Issue will aim to feature papers ranging from reviews in the aforementioned key areas to papers presenting the results of new research to papers introducing new theories and methodologies—in these areas. Papers with an educational focus in these areas are also welcome.
Potential topics include the following:
- Advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Cybersecurity of machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Large language models and their applications
- Cybersecurity of large language models
- AI software development and security considerations
- The use of machine learning and artificial intelligence for cybersecurity
- Educational topics related to instruction in machine learning, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Electronics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
