Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Lung cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer-related death in both men and women. In recent years, new strategies have emerged across systemic therapies, surgical approaches, and, importantly, radiotherapy. Innovative techniques and treatment paradigms have been developed to improve outcomes in early-stage disease, locally advanced tumors, and advanced stages, including both metastatic and oligometastatic settings.
In this Special Issue, experienced professionals will share their perspectives on the current landscape of radiotherapy in the management of NSCLC, as well as on emerging radiotherapy techniques such as Lattice, protons, and hypofractionated schedules.
Together, these contributions will provide lecturers with a broad overview about how technological and conceptual advances are reshaping the therapeutic landscape of lung cancer.
