Cytoreduction in Gynecologic Oncology
This special issue belongs to the section “Cancer Therapy“.
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue is very timely, given the recent publication of the SUROVA and TRUST trials in ovarian cancer, which has stimulated discussion around the topic of primary versus interval surgery. Topics of interest for this Issue include predictors of cytoreductility, complications, the use of diagnostic laparoscopy, and novel AI prediction tools. Furthermore, in endometrial cancer, with the introduction of immunotherapy in the advanced recurrent setting, the role of surgery remains to be evaluated. Thus, we welcome research on surgery after chemotherapy and immunotherapy in stage III–IV endometrial cancer. We are also open to topics such as the role of minimally invasive surgery in cytoreduction.
We look forward to receiving all your submissions.
