Precision Synergy in Cancer Treatment
This special issue belongs to the section "Cancer Therapy".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cancer treatment has progressed from unimodal interventions to advanced multimodal strategies integrating surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. This integrated strategy concurrently targets multiple tumor vulnerabilities, optimizing therapeutic outcomes, overcoming drug resistance, and mitigating toxicity. In addition, many precision management techniques, such as the use of novel drugs for immunotherapy, organoid technology for cancer research, radiation protection drugs to reduce the level of damage induced by radiation, the application of artificial intelligence in cancer prediction and diagnosis, etc., are widely applied in the field of cancer. Such innovations are transforming clinical paradigms—for instance, in lung cancer—and facilitating long-term survival for an increasing number of patients. This Special Issue aims to showcase cutting-edge innovations in combination therapies, emphasizing novel predictive methodologies, therapeutic management approaches, and the strategic orchestration of diverse treatment modalities in order to develop new therapeutic strategies to improve cancer treatment and patient survival.
