MDPI’s Journal Cluster of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Biochemistry and molecular biology sit at the heart of modern life sciences, providing the conceptual and experimental frameworks through which we decode the molecular logic of living systems. This field touches virtually every corner of biology and medicine, ranging from how genes are switched on and off, through how proteins fold and interact, to the intricate signalling networks that keep cells functioning. As experimental and computational approaches advance and converge, biochemistry and molecular biology continues to be a fast-moving area of scientific inquiry, with profound implications for medicine, biotechnology, and our fundamental understanding of life.

MDPI's Biochemistry and Molecular Biology journal cluster was created as a collaborative hub for cutting-edge research, fostering a deep and comprehensive understanding of the vital role molecular science plays in modern biology and medicine. Our mission goes beyond publishing; we accelerate the dissemination of discoveries that drive innovation across the full spectrum of molecular life sciences.
