Cover Story: The interface region of polymer nanocomposites based on epoxy resins of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) with triple-walled carbon nanotubes (TWCNT) and carbon fibers (CF) is characterized through molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The interface thickness is evaluated using the accumulated standard deviation (ASD) profiles, from which the effect of the carbon nanotube diameter, type of hardener and effect of the epoxy resin cross-linking degree on interface thickness are analyzed.
