Abstract
In this paper we propose the synthesis of (E)-1-(3-morpholinopropyl)-3-phenoxy-4-styryl azetidine-2-one as a new monocyclic β-lactam. Its structure has been confirmed by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and Mass spectroscopic data.
