State-of-the-Art of Microfluidic Technologies and Applications in Iberia

Dear Colleagues,

In the last decade, microfabrication technologies in the Iberian Peninsula have become an important research area for microfluidic applications in different scientific and industrial fields, from the environment to pharmaceutics or biomedical engineering. In particular, biomedical microsystem technologies for diagnosis applications have provided a significant change in the way that modern biomedicine is performed in Iberia.

This Special Issue title “State-of-the-Art of Microfluidic Technologies and Applications in Iberia” invites researchers from the Iberian Peninsula to submit original and review articles on the latest advances and challenges in the development and applications of microfluidic technologies. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
