MDPI will be attending the Eurosensors 2026, which will take place from 6 to 9 September 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland. Now established as Europe’s premier forum for research on sensors, actuators, microsystems, and nanosystems, the conference offers a unique platform for scientists and engineers from academia, research institutions, and industry to exchange ideas and foster collaborations.

The conference will cover the following:

  • Physical sensors;
  • Chemical sensors;
  • Biosensors/-electronics and biomimetic sensors;
  • Photonics and optical sensors;
  • Actuators;
  • Sensor fundamentals and modelling;
  • Emerging sensor materials;
  • Flexible, stretchable and wearable sensors;
  • Microfluidic devices, lab-on-a-chip, µTAS, and organ-on-chip systems;
  • Sensor arrays and networks and integrated systems;
  • Signal analysis, machine learning, physics-informed machine learning and artificial intelligence for sensing;
  • Sensing for medical diagnostics and monitoring;
  • Sensor applications: environment, food and space;
  • Energy harvesting for sensors.
