Dynamics, Modelling, and Control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

The field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) continues to experience transformative growth, driven by technological advancements and an expanding range of applications. From environmental monitoring and disaster response to logistics and surveillance, UAVs have become indispensable tools in modern society. Central to their operational success are the foundational aspects of dynamics, modelling, and control, which define the performance of these systems in terms of stability and adaptability.

This Special Issue seeks to explore state-of-the-art research and emerging trends in the dynamics, modelling, and control of UAVs. The focus is on addressing the challenges of increasingly complex missions, heterogeneous UAV configurations, and uncertain operating environments. We aim to provide a platform for innovative methodologies, experimental validations, and theoretical advancements pushing UAV capabilities.

We invite original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and application-driven case studies that contribute to developing and understanding UAV dynamics, modelling, and control.
