Advances in Electronics, Communication, and Automation

In today's interconnected world, the fields of electronics, communication, and automation have become increasingly intertwined, driving innovation and progress across multiple industries.

2024 International Conference on Electronics, Communication, and Automation (ECA 2024) will be held from 9–10 November 2024 in Beijing, China, and organized by Hubei Zhongke Institute of Geology and Environment Technology. ECA 2024 will bring together scientists, researchers, and engineers from all around the world to present scientific research and technology development in the field of electronics, communication, and automation.

This Special Issue presents a compilation of cutting-edge research, developments, and technological advancements in these areas, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art and offering insights into future trends. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Innovative electronics: Novel semiconductor materials and devices; Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS); Smart sensors and actuators for Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable technology; Power electronics and energy-efficient circuits for renewable energy systems
• Communication systems and networks: 5G and beyond (6G) wireless communication technologies; Optical and quantum communication systems; Network architecture, protocols, and algorithms for high-speed, low-latency networks
• Automation and control systems: Industrial automation and Industry 4.0 concepts; Robotics and autonomous systems, including swarm robotics and soft robotics; Machine learning and artificial intelligence in control systems
• Signal processing and data analytics: Advanced signal processing techniques for big data and real-time applications; Machine learning and deep learning algorithms for pattern recognition and anomaly detection; Edge computing and fog computing for distributed data processing
• Integrated systems and applications: Smart grid and energy management systems; Intelligent transportation systems and autonomous vehicles

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
