Lung Cancer Risk, Disparities, and Outcomes: From Epidemiology to Multimodality Care

Dear Colleagues,
The epidemiology of lung cancer continues to evolve, including many other non-smoking-related risk factors, such as radon, indoor and outdoor pollution, family history, genetics, second-hand smoke, inflammatory lung diseases, personal and family history of multiple cancers and many more. There may also be differences between race/ethnicity as well as gender when it comes to lung cancer risk. In addition, biomarker status and newly enhanced AI risk models for screening, treatment and surveillance continue to be added to our field. This section will focus on a variety of lung cancer topics from lung cancer risk factors to multimodal treatment options as it relates to disparities.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
