Dear Colleagues,
The knowledge of the characteristics and properties of tuberculostatic drugs in solutions is important for fundamental reasons, as well as for practical application in areas such as pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and medicine. However, despite the many factors supporting the importance of these complex systems, our understanding of them is not yet well established. Therefore, in this Special Issue, “Antituberculous Drugs: Progress and Challenges”, we encourage researchers to submit their latest developments in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and medicinal fields, with a particular focus on drugs, carriers, bioavailability, and delivery systems for the treatment of tuberculosis. Furthermore, submissions that address the characterization of these drug systems and provide physicochemical property parameters, enabling them to be modeled for future practical applications, are also welcome. To advance chemical and pharmaceutical development, we will welcome manuscripts in the forms of research articles and reviews.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Biomolecules is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
