Metal Complexes for Anticancer and Antibacterial Drug Delivery

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to this Special Issue entitled “Metal Complexes for Anticancer and Antibacterial Drug Delivery”. Metal complexes have emerged as promising tools for targeted drug delivery due to their unique structural characteristics, tunable reactivity, and ability to interact selectively with key biomolecule targets. This Special Issue focuses on recent progress in developing metal-based systems for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. Original research exploring metal complexes that function both as therapeutic agents and/or delivery platforms for the controlled release of bioactive molecules is welcome. Topics highlighted in this Special Issue involve the synthesis and application of metal-based pro-drugs, stimulus-responsive systems, photoactivated complexes, and molecular cages for effective drug delivery.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process.
