Pharmacological Therapies and Biomarkers for Diseases in Correlation with Age Groups of Patients
This special issue belongs to the section "Pharmacology".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
A concern of clinicians and researchers is finding specific biomarkers that can be used as screening tests for diseases correlated with the chronological age groups of patients. These are useful in early diagnosis, monitoring, and specific treatments. The Special Issue′s aim is to bring together insights from pediatric, ageing, and adult-specific diseases in correlation with screening strategies, novel therapeutic approaches, and multidisciplinary management. This Special Issue, hopefully, elucidates the intersection of pediatrics, gerontology, pharmacology, nutrition, biochemistry, and molecular biology. We are very interested in the presentation of research on treatments with classical biomolecules or natural products. We welcome submissions of reviews, original articles, or clinical trials to be published in this Special Issue of Pharmaceuticals.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the Special Issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Pharmaceuticals is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
