30th Anniversary of Molecules—Green Chemistry in Hungary

Dear Colleague,

In 2025, we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Molecules. Our sincerest thanks go to our readers, authors, anonymous peer reviewers, editors, and all the people working on the journal who have joined forces over the years. Without your help, we would never have achieved this.

To mark this important milestone, a Special Issue entitled “30th Anniversary of Molecules—Green Chemistry in Hungary” is being launched. This Special Issue aims to highlight academic research in Hungary and in the field of green chemistry, and will cover all aspects of green approaches to chemistry.

The submitted articles should target fields including, but not limited to, the following: atomically efficient transformations; halogene- and metal-free syntheses; heterogen and homogene catalityc reactions; chiral P-ligands; phase-transfer catalytic reactions; enzyme-catalyzed transformations; chemo-, regio-, and enantioselective reactions; optical resolution; MW-assisted and sonochemical transformations; solvent-free accomplishments; green solvents; ionic liquids; deep eutectic solvents; industrial approaches; green applications in the pharmaceutical industry; the utilization of by-products; and recirculation.

We invite colleagues involved in all branches of green chemistry, whether in academia or industry, to make contributions to this Special Issue.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
