We are pleased to announce that MDPI will be participating as an exhibitor at the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine 2026 Annual Academic Conference (CAAV 2026), which will be held from 27 to 29 Nov 2026 in Nanjing, China.

The year 2026 marks the launch of the 15th Five-Year Plan, an important milestone celebrating the 90th anniversary of Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV). Meanwhile, the Society will convene its 16th National Congress of Members together with the Council leadership transition, embarking on a new journey of development.

To thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, fulfill the deployment requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan, pool the wisdom and strengths of a broad community of scientific and technological workers, and empower the industrial upgrading of animal husbandry and veterinary sectors through scientific and technological innovation, the 2026 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) will be themed “Science and Technology Empowering High-Quality Development”. Co-sponsored by affiliated branches including the Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch, Animal Nutrition Branch, Livestock Ecology Branch, Animal Infectious Diseases Branch, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Branch, Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch, Small Animal Medicine Branch, Livestock Environmental Hygiene Branch, Animal Welfare and Healthy Farming Branch, and Veterinary Public Health Branch, the Conference will bring together experts, scholars, enterprise managers and producers for extensive and in-depth academic exchanges.

The Conference is scheduled to be held in Nanjing in November, with the exact date and venue to be announced separately. The Commemoration for the 90th Anniversary of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and the 16th National Congress of Members will be held concurrently.
