Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The 21st century is seeing a continued increase in the incidence of autoimmune diseases, diseases that feature an immune-mediated attack on the body’s own organs. Reported increase in the prevalence of cellular and molecular markers of autoimmune diseases, such as antinuclear antibodies, further supports a dynamic landscape of autoimmune disease pathogenesis.
In this Special Issue, we invite researchers to publish reviews or original research papers that address the current challenges in autoimmune diseases, from molecular mechanisms to therapeutic strategies. Our goal is to improve understanding and clinical management of these diseases as they become serious health concerns worldwide.
