Nanodelivery Systems in Health and Disease: Molecular Design and Biomedical Applications

Dear Colleagues,

Nanodelivery systems are versatile platforms for transporting drugs, nucleic acids, proteins, imaging agents and bioactive molecules with improved stability, targeting ability and therapeutic performance. Recent advances in molecular design, including ligand conjugation, supramolecular assembly, surface functionalization and stimuli-responsive architectures, have enabled nanocarriers to interact with specific cells, pathological microenvironments and disease-associated molecular targets. This Special Issue aims to highlight molecularly engineered nanodelivery systems and their biomedical applications in healthcare, diagnosis, imaging and disease therapy. We welcome original research and review articles covering polymeric, lipid-based, inorganic, hybrid, biomimetic and polysaccharide-based nanocarriers; targeted and responsive delivery; bioactive molecule and nucleic acid delivery; immunomodulation; antioxidant and anti-inflammatory therapy; regenerative medicine; theranostics and in silico or experimental studies supporting nanocarrier design. Contributions with translational relevance in cancer, cardiovascular, inflammatory, infectious, musculoskeletal and other diseases are particularly encouraged.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process.
