Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The issue will address energy flows in cities with special emphasis on renewable energy and energy efficiency approaches within the city and beyond. The scope covers technical papers addressing technologies and policy requirements needed to achieve energy efficiency, reduced consumption and thermal comfort. Recognising the broad range of challenges in energy and cities, the content will provide a platform addressing the challenges and innovation (scientific/technology/policy) development of relevance to cities. This includes ideas and issues pertinent to energy and urban development, addressing cutting-edge research in renewable energy, energy management, energy efficiency, public policy development, and improvement of social wellbeing. Contributions are welcomed from academics, policy makers and industry.

Manuscript Submission Information

Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
