Signaling Pathways in Chronic Inflammation and Cancers
This special issue belongs to the section "Cell Signaling".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Chronic inflammation is associated with a wide range of diseases, including cancers, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and so on. Chronic inflammatory diseases have a high incidence and lead to prolonged illness, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients and is the leading cause of death in humans. However, at present, the understanding of their etiology and pathogenesis is not comprehensive, and early diagnosis and treatment are almost impossible. Elucidating the regulation signaling pathway is one of the basic links to reveal the regulation rules of chronic inflammation disease. The exact pathophysiological signaling pathways of chronic inflammatory diseases are complex. Understanding disease-related signaling pathways detected and identified using human tissue or animal models will be an important step forward for research. The goal of this Special Issue is to collate articles related to the pathophysiology of signaling pathways involved in chronic inflammatory disease. We encourage interested investigators to submit all types of papers based on cell models, animal models, human samples, and clinical cases aiming to promote research progress in cancer, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and diabetes, providing a theoretical and experimental basis for further pathogenesis of any chronic inflammatory disease.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the Special Issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Cells is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2700 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
