Cover Story: In the field of aeronautical engineering, analyzing wing-box structures is crucial for ensuring flight safety and efficiency. Addressing the complexities inherent in this domain, this research investigates the dynamic behaviour of such structures, aiming to refine existing models and enhance design methodologies. This study focuses on understanding the intricate dynamics of wing structures, particularly in relation to vibration analysis and aeroelastic effects. Acknowledging the limitations of traditional linear models, this work examines nonlinear couplings and bending–torsion effects to develop more comprehensive solutions. The research culminates in the development of two distinct models tailored to capture different facets of structural behaviour. View this paper
