Cover Story: Medium-sized biogas plants can produce about 35–40 GJ of energy depending on the input material and are still in line with the goals of the low-carbon economy principle. In this study, the possibility of production of ecological energy utilizing harmful waste generated on farms in rural areas was presented. The possibility of reducing pollution in rural areas and utilization of digestate as a fertilizer provides an innovative additional role for biocomposites. The production and use of energy generated from agricultural waste offers a great opportunity for diversification and an increase in income of family farms. In addition to financial, energy, and environmental gains, we can obtain a valuable fertilizer that is easily absorbed by plants in field cultivation. Using such developments, we can control energy efficiency, a very important parameter in biogas production. View this paper
