Electromobility and New Mobility Solutions in Sustainable Urban Transport Systems
Topic Information
Dear Colleagues,
New mobility services (including all shared mobility systems), electromobility or mobility as a service are just some of the current trends that can be observed in urban transport systems in recent years. Proper functioning of this type of solutions is aimed at limiting the negative impact of transport on the environment and improving its functioning. However, in order for transport to function properly and meet the expectations of society, improving our lives, it is important to properly, thoughtfully, and consciously manage it. Therefore, this Special Edition focuses on the broad topic of “Electromobility and New Mobility Solutions in Sustainable Urban Transport Systems”. Due to the very wide range of topics related to new mobility services, this Topic will be interdisciplinary. Any research that includes analysis of the existing practices of the functioning of electromobility and new mobility solutions, developed mathematical, business, and descriptive models, calculations, forecasts, plans and development analyses, comparative analyses, as well as advanced literature reviews, case studies, guidelines, and theoretical and practical studies are warmly welcome. The following aspects will be discussed in the Topic: economy, energy, the environment, decision making, law, management, optimization, policies, technical conditions, and social aspects.

Preprints.org is a multidisciplinary platform offering a preprint service designed to facilitate the early sharing of your research. It supports and empowers your research journey from the very beginning.
MDPI Topics is collaborating with Preprints.org and has established a direct connection between MDPI journals and the platform. Authors are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity by posting their preprints at Preprints.org prior to publication:
- Share your research immediately: disseminate your ideas prior to publication and establish priority for your work.
- Safeguard your intellectual contribution: Protect your ideas with a time-stamped preprint that serves as proof of your research timeline.
- Boost visibility and impact: Increase the reach and influence of your research by making it accessible to a global audience.
- Gain early feedback: Receive valuable input and insights from peers before submitting to a journal.
- Ensure broad indexing: Web of Science (Preprint Citation Index), Google Scholar, Crossref, SHARE, PrePubMed, Scilit and Europe PMC.
