Feature Papers in Polymer Science and Technology

Polymers have undergone significant advancements since their initial discovery. The development of polymers can be traced back to the 19th century, with the vulcanization of rubber by Charles Goodyear in 1839 marking a pivotal moment. In contemporary society, polymers are ubiquitous and play a crucial role across diverse domains of scientific inquiry. This Special Issue “Feature Papers in Polymer Science and Technology” aims to collect cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, original full-length research articles or high-quality reviews in polymer science and technology, including but not limited to the following topics:

• Development of new methods for polymerization;
• Development of novel monomers and polymers with unique properties;
• Utilization of renewable resources for polymer synthesis;
• Strategies for reducing the environment impact of polymer production;
• Advanced polymer composites and nanocomposites;
• Design of stimuli-responsive polymers;

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Polymers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
