Dietary Habits and Obesity in Children
This special issue belongs to the section “Nutrition and Public Health“.
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Overweight and obesity in children is a major public health challenge and may have serious consequences for both the individual and society. Dietary habits play an important role in both the development of and reduction in overweight and obesity in childhood.
The purpose of this Special Issue of Nutrients is to present the newest research on dietary habits in relation to overweight and obesity in children. Studies are welcome on dietary habits understood in a broad sense, including, for example, studies on food preferences, food choices, pickiness, specific food items, macronutrients, meal habits, and eating habits.
Both original research (epidemiological or experimental) and reviews will be accepted.
