Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The most adequate gynecological surgery for different gynecological diseases always depends on new developments in the field. Recent scientific updates are not just influential. They constitute possible alternative therapies that have to be implemented to achieve individual and tailored patient treatment. This often means that a shift in the treatment itself or in the concomitant therapy has to be taken into account.
In the frame physicians and surgeons work in, bearing in mind the eventual health care budget and country-related restrictions, an open-minded evaluation of existing and newly developed surgical options also constitutes securing the best possible care for the patients. This Special Issue enables scientifically active surgeons to submit their contributions, thereby playing an active role in the improvement of women’s health care.
