Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Bladder cancer remains a significant global health challenge, characterized by high recurrence rates, diverse histological subtypes, and complex management strategies. Despite advances in molecular biology and imaging technologies, the early diagnosis, accurate risk stratification, and personalized treatment of bladder cancer remain areas of intensive research. This Special Issue aims to bring together high-quality original research and comprehensive reviews that address current challenges and innovations in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of both non-muscle invasive and muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Topics of interest include advances in urinary biomarkers, imaging modalities, cystoscopic technologies, risk assessment tools, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence. Additionally, we welcome contributions on emerging systemic therapies, immunotherapy, organ-sparing approaches, surgical techniques, and quality-of-life outcomes. Our main purpose is to foster interdisciplinary dialog, connecting basic science and clinical practice. The Special Issue will serve as a valuable resource for clinicians, researchers, and policymakers aiming to improve the prognosis and care of patients with bladder cancer.
