JCM-Advances in Cardiology, Part 2

Dear Colleagues,

Cardiovascular medicine remains the most common cause of mortality and morbidity in Western countries, despite the fast-growing research with its direct clinical implications. These scientific activities span across different cardiovascular sub-specialities and cover a wide range of scientific developments, including investigations, medical treatment, device manufacturing and implantation and surgical procedures. Indeed, many traditional management strategies have now been replaced by less complicated strategies, including minimally invasive surgical interventions. Furthermore, cardiology practice has now branched off to serve patients with other medical problems, including kidney, endocrine and oncology patients.

This Special Issue (SI) of the Journal of Clinical Medicine, entitled “JCM-Advances in Cardiology, Part 2”, focuses on recent advances in the cardiological sciences. It aims at providing the readers from different backgrounds with ground-breaking scientific material of significant clinical and academic relevance, including observational studies, clinical trials, and review articles. Unique case reports, clinical trials and review articles are also welcome.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Journal of Clinical Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
