We are excited to announce that the 6th International Congress on Applied Ichthyology, Oceanography, and Aquatic Environment (HydroMediT 2026) will take place in Volos, a city closely connected to the sea and exploration, from the 5^th to the 8^th of November 2026 at the University of Thessaly. The conference involves a series of national and international stakeholders as co-organizers, supporters and sponsors.

Today, HydroMediT is one of the major international congresses on novel scientific and technological trends in applied ichthyology, oceanography, and aquatic environment in our region—the Mediterranean and its adjacent seas—with increasing participation from the academic community.
