Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the 3rd Brazilian Fish Reproduction Workshop, scheduled to take place in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, between 20 and 23 August 2024.
This biennial event represents not only a significant milestone in the national scientific calendar, but also a unique opportunity to promote dialogue and collaboration between the most prominent researchers, industry professionals and producers involved in fish conservation and reproduction.
The workshop's primary objective is to promote the integration of the various Brazilian and international research groups involved in the study of fish reproduction, aiming to strengthen ties between researchers, companies and producers in the sector. This multifaceted collaboration is essential to foster an environment conducive to the generation of on-demand research and the development of biotechnologies aimed at boosting not only fish farming, but also the conservation of native species and the preservation of aquatic ecosystems.
In this third edition, the workshop will adopt a hybrid format, combining in-person with online transmission, to guarantee the participation of a broad and diverse audience. We believe that this approach will increase interaction and the exchange of ideas, further enriching discussions and contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and ecological awareness.
The official language will be Portuguese.
